Citromil S.L. is a family business founded in 1992. Lemons, oranges and mandarins are processed in CIT’s installations combining modern and traditional equipment. As a result a list of healthy natural citrus products are obtained, with no artificial additives, which are used in the food & beverage industry as ingredients
Role in the project
As wastewater provider (WP1), CIT will contribute to validate the proposed technology on wastewater from citric fruit processing industry, which is rich in sugars and oligosaccharides such as peptin, widely used to texturize juice and marmalade. The objective of the company is to valorize by-products and residues from the process as well as an efficient residues management.
