Company description:

The nova-Institute GmbH is a private company (SME), with its main areas of research and consultancy being market research and techno-economic evaluation on agricultural raw material supply and applications including bio-based chemicals, bio-based plastics and composites and industrial biotechnology. Additionally Nova is working in the area of Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) and is organizing an international conference on this topic since 2012.

Nova’s competences range from competition analysis along the whole value added chain from agricultural to the final product, over feasibility and potential studies, to marketing strategies and B2B communication. Additionally, nova is also working in the field of ecological evaluation including life cycle assessments (LCA), and in the area of standardization and certification of biomass. To round up our profile, the institute is also active in the field of dissemination and standardization of bio-based products.

Life cycle assessment (LCA) to evaluate the environmental aspects associated to the process Techno-economic analysis
